în anul 1925, pe teritoriul localităţii Rachelu a fost descoperit, întâmplător, un important tezaur monetar medieval format din groşi emişi de Petru I Muşat, domnitorul Moldovei, şi de Ivan Sraçimir, ţarul bulgar de la Vidin, cuprinzând aproximativ 2000 piese. |
