Situl este localizat la 600 m de marginea de est a localităţii Miceşti şi la 500 m vest de Bărăbanţ, fiind amplasat pe prima terasă de pe partea dreaptă a Ampoiului. Această terasă oferă o largă vizibilitate atât pe valea Ampoiului, spre nord şi nord-vest, cât şi pe valea Mureşului, spre est, spre dealurile Podişului Secaşelor. Zona este înconjurată de dealurile joase ale Munţilor Trascăului, la sud Dealul Mamut, la nord-est Dealul Bilag. |
