Situl a fost descoperit la 200-250 m nord de râul Bârzava, la 400 m vest de calea ferată TM-Moraviţa. Conform hărţilor istorice, în zonă au existat nisipării şi un curs meandrat de apă, denumit Ramda Graben (Şanţul Ramda). La sud de acest curs de apă şi râul Bârzava a existat o zonă neinundabilă, foarte bine redată la prima ridicare militară austriacă. |
