Realizarea diagnosticului arheologic din 2017 a constat în efectuarea unei cercetări de suprafaţă, ce a acoperit atât aria ce va fi afectată de proiect (Transelectrica) cât şi zonele învecinate. Tumul situat la 870 m SV de terenul afectat de investiţie, în vecinătatea staţiei Transelectrica Isaccea. Tumulul face parte din necropola Movilele Dese (159696.06). |
