Aşezarea este amplasată pe terasa înaltă, de E a văii pârâului Tinoasa (malul stâng), în zona confluenţei cu o văioagă ce mărgineşte situl în partea de E, traversat de DJ 612, 2,8 km SSE de biserica din Sfinţeşti. Forte posibil, situl este extins pe o prelungire a terasei, delimitată de văioaga amintită, zona fiind în prezent împădurită. |

În timpul săpăturilor arheologice au fost descoperite fragmente ceramice, unele atipice, preistorice, altele tipice pentru a doua epocă a fierului, fragmente de chirpici ars, unele masive, cu amprente de nuiele, aşchie de silex; izolat, un fragment de calotă craniană umană. |
