Cetatea se află la nord de Topalu şi la sud de Ghindăreşti, la 3,5 km Nord de localitatea Topalu, pe un promontoriu aflat la sud de valea Chichirgeaua, aproximativ 2 km NV de drumul judeţean DJ 223 (sector Topalu-Tichileşti). Aceasta este situată pe un promontoriu al Dealului Cichirgeaua, având la S Valea Cichirgeaua, la E Cariera Minaveli, la N Movila Cichirgeaua şi la V Ostrovul Atârnaţi. |
