Situl se află pe o terasă a Dunării (cu înăţime absolută de 110 m), numită aici "Dealul Vămii" (fosta vamă dintre Ţara Românească şi Kazaua otomană de la Turnu), în punctul "Cişmele" (cu puternice izvoare la bază, inclusiv izvorul pârâului Vărzăria sau Strâmbul) aflată la cca. 580 m ESE de biserica din Segarcea Deal şi 480 m S de DC 39. |
