Cetatea prezintă elemente de fortificaţie de şanţ cu val de apărare, situate pe latura de nord. Valul are o înălţime de 3-4 metri şi o lăţime la bază de aproximativ 7-8 metri. Şanţul are adâncimea de 1.5 m şi lăţimea de 5.6 m.
