În cursul cercetării preventive din anul 2017 pe terenul din zona Popas Cişmea a fost identificat şanţul de delimitare al drumului, săpat în formă de V. Situl a fost delimitat prin studierea fotografiilor aeriene vechi şi în baza cercetărilor preventive din perioada 2017-2021.
